air conditioning malfunction on a 1998 S90

I love my car. The air conditioning is not putting out much cool air even when it is set to the coolest setting. It starts out fairly cool at the beginning of the day and then each time the car is turned off and then restarted, it has warmer air than the previous time until this afternoon it was blowing hot air. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what was the problem and how was it corrected.

Don't use it until you get it checked for freon. if there is a leak or such, you could ruin your compressor $$$$$.
My 940 lost it's a/c and it was the control unit in the dash, which is common for the 940, I don't know about the S90.
It could also be a leak or the compressor.
Good luck,

Could be a number of things going wrong here , most common is gas leakage out of the compressor seal , this happens because people don't use it in the winter when they should because it actually dries the incoming air. That leads to low efficiency easily rectified with a top up
The evaporator sensor may be freezing up , that will cut out the compressor until it thaws out and kicks it back in. could be electrical such as a faulty compressor clutch and or relay supply voltage or control signal via control panel, do you have manual or electronic climate control

best take it to a dealer or air con specialist that understands the setup
