Hey Steve, on the interior. I'm in need of some upholstery work, and I've been happy with the work I've had with a shop up near you. I believe they are actually located behind the dealership (if I'm not mistaken) where you bought your S60. I'll try to get you the info.
There are several what I call 'garage businesses' up behind Village Volvo.
There are a couple of upholstery shops. One is ECO. Is that the one?? They were going to do the ragtop on my Vette but i ended up doing it myself. Nice fellas though.
I forget the name off hand, but will chase it down. I dealt with a younger guy who drives a red Integra by the name of Shorty. Yes, Shorty. He's pretty talented. He recovered a VW Golf seat of mine to match a friend's Sparco Seats for his GTI and did so affordably. It looked great in the end. They're on the left (I think the second upholstery shop on the left) as you go back into that park.
I have heard it will take about an hour and is fairly easy, unlike the 200 series which was a pain and took forever. One day mine went up in a puff of smoke, not really, but my car smelled of burn electrical. I bought a new car before I got around to buy a new fan so I never installed one.
There were two different fans for the 700 so make sure you get the right one. Should cost around $60.

Not much activity over here in the RWD forums but hopefully that will change.
