I carefully removed rear wheels and taped off braking surface with pinstripe tape and painted outer surface of rotors and where the vents exit at hub. Also tape off backing plates with wide tape..turned out perfect and look so much better. Here in Canada I use dupli color graphite high performance wheel paint p.n. 10200 and it is amazing paint almost like powder coating...drys in minutes and matches perfect and has metallic sparkle as well. Torqued all wheels to spec and lowered air to 36psi to try..love my car..
just high performance wheel paint...been using it for many years on my 04R and lasts almost forever and never falls off or discolours..no need for high heat unless you get them glowing I guess haha I don't do that but have had them pretty hot
I'm thinking powder coat but appreciate knowing there is a paint that lasts.
