It won't sit long if they get realistic with the price. I've seen similar listed on the net for $58K....so considering a little more wiggle room since they need to clear as much inventory as possible prior to year-end, this could/should be had for a cool $55K, which is quite a bargain. Dropping $55K on a car during the holidays is tough, but if Volvo is still paying the first month, that certainly sweetens the deal. I bet it's gone by year-end.
If your car is a MY13 that was on the lot when the MY14's were coming-out (mid 2013?), then that might explain why it hung around for awhile. The enhancements on the MY14's were quite significant and obvious, and would be more desirable in comparison, assuming only a slight jump in price. One also gains that partial year in depreciation with the early release of the MY14's.
This car was sold and delivered on 11/15. According to the Polestar Specialist, it went to a collector. Unfortunately, it might just sit in a garage somewhere.
Not sure anyone cares, but I spoke with the Polestar Specialist again this weekend and he corrected my assumption. The owner is a collector, but this is his daily driver. It's good to know it will be showing off the brand for Volvo.
That is pretty lame, from the Volvo website:
This coverage plan is a U.S. specific program for all new 2015 and 2015.5 vehicles, and is valid only when repairs are performed at an authorized U.S. Volvo dealer.
Can you post the offer sheet where this is specified?
Your dealer can show you the program with the exclusions.
