Has anyone thought about installing, or has installed, a boost gauge on their Polestar? That's one gauge I would enjoy having. Any thoughts or advice on this would be appreciated.
Would add to the sportive impression yes but isn't really of much use.
The modern motormanagement is about torque request or better set driver power request and boost is only a part of that system.
Because of that boost will probably not make much sense. Maybe a peak can be seen yes.
In the performance display there is a "power" bar on the right. It shows power request with the left yellow indicator and delivery with the right yellow indicator.
The right indicator more or less represents torque delivery which can be used as an indicator for boost delivery. There is no numbered scale but it does provide some info.
I do think There should have been a Polestar exclusive display with more accurate information for sportive use. Things you can also see on an aftermarket race dash.
Added to that the red color is distracting.
