The Polestar has a parking sensor for distance from the front bumper; not distance from curbs, which can be significantly shorter and prone to catch on the lower front bumper and winglets.
My S60 measures the distance from the top of the curb in front....I always know when I've pulled up close enough, and if it doesn't' beep then you are not going to hit. As far as I'm concerned this is a "built in" feature already.
Hmmm....i've never had a curb it didn't tell me was there that could do damage. Maybe the Polestar cars are that much different, but still surprised it doesn't work for you. It's a great feature for sure.
This is something to consider. I have unfortunately already damaged my front splitter on the right side on a curb. The parking sensors didn't catch it because the spot was on an angle.
