Have any Polestar S60/V60 owners had their cars dyno'd to measure the real-world performance output? Would love to see how dyno graphs measure against reported crank performance results. If so, please share your dyno make/model, localized climate details and vehicle configuration while on the dyno.
I don't have a dyno graph, but I will add this. One of my brother-in-laws just bought a 2015 Mercedes CLS550, 4.7l twin turbo V8 rated at 402HP, he was kind enough to let me drive it, very nice car, it should be, after a few options, it was 82k+ The Polestar feels faster, like the Volvo the CLS is no light weight tipping the scales at 4100 lbs. I thought I would be blown away with it's prowess, I wasn't. The howl of Volvo's inline 6 in sport mode is way more intoxicating than the muted growl of the CLS. Then I looked up manufacturers published 0-60 times since I expected the CLS to be way faster than my Polestar V60, CLS550 0-60 5.1 seconds, V60P 4.8 seconds. For whatever it is worth, my butt dyno says the Polestar is faster than a twin turbo 402HP Mercedes of like weight.
What is it that you are looking to do with this info? Johann had a P* on a dyno before but I have not heard of anyone else getting theirs on one. We know right away that any of us in CA are not getting Max power due to crap gas.
I'd be curious to see an S60 or V60 P* dyno at the same time as a regular T6 R-D and even just a regular T6 (300HP) all on the same dyno, same day. Much better than comparing different dynos against each other.
Storing without ethanol is preferred...that is some nasty stuff, particularly when sitting around. When I was in Illinois, I had the same challenge since the lobbyists knew IL corruption was in their favor...mandatory ethanol to help them get wealthy while the car guys suffer. Sorry, off my soap box...a good fuel stabilizer will do just fine with what you have to work with.
