Just bought a V90 Wagon - any advice for total newb?

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to say I bought a Volvo V90 Wagon. 41,000 original miles, well taken care of, all service work done at dealer.

Any advice for a Volvo Newbie? Even though it isn't close to the 70,000 mile timing belt replacement, I'm doing this as an insurance policy. The belt is 8 years old- not sure I trust it.

I do need a source for a replacement foglight and drivers side mirror glass. Where's a good online place?

Thanks! http://********************/smile/emcocktl.gif

Notice that most Swedespeed Forums are sponsored by a Volvo Resource and many of these sell Volvo parts.

Here is one of many

Also, just about anything Volvo new and used is on eBay and at

My direction has been to establish a long-term relationship with the local Volvo dealer who then gives me a VCOA discount on parts plus a labor/parts discount on service and repair. This brings a $500 ticket down to about $380 depending on the parts/labor mix.

My '96 965 wagon has had no problems as the original owner was a little old lady who drove it to...

For every wheel/tire option available for your Volvo visit

http://www.tirerack.com/upgrad...dClar=

where you will find 35 "rims" of perfect fit for your V90.

My '96 965 is running the 16" AT ITALIA Flash which are being discontinued and are a $300+ dollar wheel for $219 each.

I went with the Yokohama 205-55-16 top-rated AVS dB S2 as I don't see much snow.

The ride is still smooth and quiet with better steering response and 9/10ths control in the twisties. Yes, sharp bumps are now louder and intrude into the interior more than the Bridgestones.
