Buddy of mine picked up an 86 765 Turbo, absolute mint body/interior.
Car has all maintenance records through 146K (done exclusively at a Volvo dealer), but the second owner only drove it 3K and seized the motor.
He has a 1990 B230F motor available, but would like it to stay a Turbo.
Exactly what did Volvo change on the guts of a B230 to go from non-turbo to turbo? A strong consideration is to use the 90 motor, strip it, and use the accessories, etc of the priginal.
Any thoughts?
