Hello to all!

I have owned a 93 960 wagon since 1996 and over 100k of driving miles and just found the group while trolling through the brick board.

I'm in Phila PA and an avid DIY car mechanic who does most of my own repair work.

I need to do my own work, I have 4 cars and most of them are b*stard stepchildren of their marque!

In addition to the 960 which is denegrated by the 240 and the FWD crowd, I have a Porsche 928 which is likewise snubbed by the 911 owners and a Mercury Capri, a Miata pretender that Ford dropped after 4 years.

The 4th car is POS Dodge Daytoam that I've kept running for 17 years and 225,000 miles though its days are numbered as I'm looking to replace it with a 93 960 sedan.

The wife and I really like these cars, she is the main driver of the wagon, so I've decided to buy another.

I'm looking forward to seeing some folks at the GTG in a few weeks at Stillman's.

I'll be in the "slammed" Marroon 965 with IPD sport suspension!!

See y'all then!

I was just going to invite you to Stillman's, so I guess I'll have to settle for saying welcome, and you had me up until the Daytona thing. You can keep that one.

My wife had one when we were dating. With 65K on the odo it had an oil leak and caught fire a week after being in the Dodge dealer for a recall so it wouldn't leak oil and catch fire. Their answer...."We'll give you a great deal on this demo Neon that we have". Not likely. We traded it on a pristine '93 VW Corrado SLC. It was a lot of fun for a while, but then we traded that for an 850R. http://********************/smile/emwink.gif http://********************/smile/emwink.gif

Anyway, more info than you needed.

Welcome to Swedespeed!

Glad to see another 960 owner here. We will have to give those FWD folks a run for their money because they can't beat our silky smooth RWD inline-6'ers can they? http://********************/smile/emwink.gif http://********************/smile/emthup.gif Or maybe they can...hahaha...

Hey, I also think that the 928 was a bad-arse car, so take that 911 owners!
