Having just become a father have added a volvo 960 to the fleet. The handbrake needs adjustment, but can not find how to get to adjuster, which i assume is under the arm rest.? Sure this is any easy one if someone can help please?
Many thanks for the speedy reply gdill2. Will be having a look this weekend. Was not sure if that was the way in on the later 960 model and did not want to use too much force and ruin some trim. Very pleased with the new Volvo experience, and when it comes to safety and load carrying ability, hard to beat!! Funny how having a child changes ones view on a car
Many trim pieces are removed by sliding a thin tool just under the leading edge. A re-shaped wooden throat depressor works well but here is the actual tool...
I am still googling for pics of 960 handbrake adjustment.
