I've been looking at the 780's as a possible project, and I was curious as to the differeces between the 740's and 760's (performance part interchangability).

I did notice what looks to be a decent one on ebay in the DC area and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it?

Just like to say Hi. Very interesting that I'm finding more and more C70 owners around DC metro area. I really should try my best to bring everyone out for a GTG for once. http://********************/smile/emwink.gif

Good luck with your search. There's a pretty good parts yard/ used car place in Frederick as I recall. I'm not sure of any off hand that are FS in the DC area, though I do know where there's a 262 in need of a resto.

Welcome to Swedespeed.

You're right Kai, maybe it's about time for a spontaneous parking lot GTG again. Washingtonian Center again perhaps?

Sounds good to me. Next weekend will work out the best for me actually.
The 29th would be OK with me. Maybe an early afternoon GTG this Saturday the 22nd, but I'm planning to head out to Summit Point Sat. afternoon and I'll be autocrossing all day Sunday. http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Re: 780 information (Turbo16psi)

I forgot to mention that I'm going to Summit just to OBSERVE the drivers school, and maybe get Bobby Unser's autograph. http://********************/smile/emwink.gif If I get a couple fun laps in, that would be great, but I'm not counting on it. The real fun will be had Sunday, first event of the year. Unfortunately my deal for some Yoko R-comps fell through, so I'm still on street tires. I'm thinking maybe I should run the STS class on Falken Azenis tires, but for now I'm just out for fun and seat time until both myself and the car is ready to go fast.
