I never thought I, a Canadian, would be wishing I had a FMIC or aquamist. I've been reading 38-43 degrees all week and my car is not happy. This is the first summer with all my mods and it feels like I'm right back to square one again. I thought it was a bad tank of gas at first but soon found that was not the case. I know the R owners out there with ECU upgrades running 18-20psi are probably crying even more than me.
The P2 Rs seem to be the most effected by high temperatures. I remember in the C&D article where they were down south and the R was a full second slower to 60mp/h than their last test.
It rained today and went down to 26
! But the wheel-spin cancelled out the extra power. Then it stopped raining and went back up to 36
I can also add that my car does feel slower, than usual, especially with all this hunidity. God bless cool, low humidity autumn nights to come. My turbo will love it!|
