    Thanks for the *thumbs up*

    The AKA was a blast!

I met some of the coolest people, got to drive the Nissan GTR, and more importantly turned heads with the R. Especially with the drifting. haha... My power steering was blown out so I figured what the hey, might as well show the Vette and BMW guys what the R can do.

Sadly I don't have many pictures of my own due to loosing my co-driver the day before the rally started. It's harder than you think to speed, take pictures, and monitor all the electronics in the car as I learned on another rally. lol But there are tons of pictures on the AKA's site, and I pulled together a collection from other drivers on my site.

Don't worry though, the show should be airing on the Speed network sometime this Oct/Nov, and there's the unrated/uncensored DVD coming next year. So you guys won't be missing out on any of the insanity.

The tinted tails with the tinted (vinyl?) on the hump looks HOT! I think I might just try that if you don't mind

Tinted vinyl on the tail lights and solid black vinyl on the hump. All custom and hand done by Greg Lilly @ Underground Graphics here in Houston.

Greg has done all of the graphics on the R and my previous car. His work is seriously amazing.

If you contact him he might be able to hook you up.

I LOVE those black vinyl stripes!

Yup, top center antenna for CB, and the other two were for the police scanners. Car's also equipped with two gps's, carputer, radar detector, laser jammer, and a 20 gallon fuel cell.

And I STILL got pulled over twice when I wasn't doing anything! I knew where the cops were and slowed down way in advance.
The first time the cop called my car a BMW! LOL
    The Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anPO7LisIwI
The second time I got pulled over for "following too close"... but I was the lead car. My exact words to him were "How was I following too close? I was in front."
No video, but here's a pic taken by Dale in the blue z06:

    Didn't get tickets either time.

Take your cues from Alex Roy? Lol.

Fuel Cell is awesome, as is everything else. Which laser jammers did you go with? Blinder?

Wow man thats a lot of Fvcking pictures!

The laser jammer is a LaserStar (I know, I know... all the b-s surround these guys ) It was given to the drivers because they were sponsors of the rally, so at least I didn't pay for it. I can't say how well it works b/c it honestly never went off. So who knows? I went from NY to LA on a real Cannonball Run before I had it and only got a ticket from the airplane that clocked us. The CB is seriously a WAY more wise investment if you're going to be doing this kind of thing.

Car looks amazing in red, especially in the trailer video. I like the tail lights, they're just right.

Do my eyes deceive me or has the car got the old style wheel caps? It looks like a 2005+ model though with painted bumper strips.

"Everyone In Ohio knows about the challenge."

Regardless of the route you guys took, I can imagine some pretty bad spots, having driven all over OH and determining (however arbitrarily) that about 40% of the state and 90% of township budget comes from tickets.

    designer, I'm guessing you'd concur.
