ScheduleDon and the Bob’s Donuts gang are back, bringing you the Annual Day After Thanksgiving Trackday at Buttonwillow yet again!
Location: Buttonwillow Raceway Park, Buttonwillow, California
Date: Friday, November 27, 2009
Event Format: Three rungroups, each getting one 20 minute session per hour, then a full hour open session from 4-5pm. Space is very limited at 15 cars per rungroup, early signup is encouragedGates open at 7am
Drivers’ Meeting is at 8am
Track is hot at 9amGroups will be as follows:
Grip 1
Grip 2
Drift (invite/apply only)Skidpad only Drift, all day access
We will be using track configuration #13 clockwise
Price is $165 for Bob’s Donuts members, $200 for guests. Previous attendance to any Bob’s Donuts event is all that’s required to be a member. A minimum of one prior track event with any provider is required to drive on-track
Drifters! there is a skidpad-only option available for total beginners, with a chance to get on track during the last session of the day. The Skidpad only options is $90.
This is one of the best months to run Buttonwillow. Temperatures in November are very mild and conditions are usually ideal.

Yeah I have work the day before till 6 then I'm gonna kamakazi down to So-cal for a family gathering for Thanksgiving. Then....sleep off turkey for track day!

The waffles were friggin fantastic along with the chicken and gravy w/ buscuit.
It was well worth the 7 hr drive.
