A friend is looking for a Willow Green Metallic/Beige 2.5T AWD. Is this the same as Platinum Green Metallic?

    No, two different colors.

Platinum Green metallic has a lot more green in it and its paint code is #449
Willow Green metallic is a mix of silver and green and its paint code is #447.

Platinum Green was an earlier color when compared to Willow Green.

this is for the wife. I don't guess I've ever seen this color. I can see it on autotrader but pictures don't seem to do it justice.

I've also noticed that almost no one checked the boxes for Convienence or Sport packages. Too bad about that because both would basically deck it out like an R without the struts or the engine.

I want to make a correction, on the paint codes, above:

Willow Green metallic is 471 not 447.

BTW, it was introduced in MY06. Platinum Green metallic's last year was in MY05.

The Sport package became more dramatic, if you will, starting with MY06. Until MY05, it gave you 17" THOR wheels, sportier seats and front fog lights.

Get a t5 dude. The price between a nice 2.5t and a nice t5 is minimal at best. Most t5s come with the sport package, better brakes(might be on manuals only..not sure), 17" wheels, HU 803, etc... You know which one the resale will favor...

I like Plat green on S60s, not so much on V70s.

Not sure where you get your info but the T5 does not have "better" brakes over a 2.5T.

my t5 has 305mm(12 inch) rotors.. last i checked the others got 280mm(11 inch). Not the huge upgrade between the R and t5, but better none-the-less.

AWD is a requirement. that rules out the T5.

so I rode in this car for the first time today and wow what a car! They got a 2006 2.5T AWD that was completely packaged out. I am SO envious of the convienence package. The laminated glass is night and day difference with sound! Oh I so wish my car had the convienence package! And the sport package seats, while the leather is not the same as my R for sure, the seat feel is pretty much the same as my R.
