Larger Volvo Emblem/Slash for the front grill? Is there a part number? Similar to 2010 Xc60

Hey guys,

I saw Primodevil's pics
thread and I fell in love with the idea of getting a more balanced look up front by using a larger Volvo emblem. He used a belt buckle




Even though it's off centre a little bit, i like the look. I'd prefer having an XC60 size/2011 c30/2011 s60 emblem and I'd love to be able to cut it and apply it to my stock grill to give a more balanced look.

oh i didn't know the logo for volvo was a symbol of Sweden's strength in Iron and how strong Iron is. Wow. So empirical. Anyways, does this emblem have a part number by itself? I'm going to start searching google and ebay like crazy and try to apply one to my grill.

If someone has the measurements that'd be much appreciated.

I just found from tasca and myswedishparts that they sell this emblem seperately for about $25ish. Someone with VIDA, can you give me a part number? I'm checking for an XC60. The grill emblem from a 2009 or 2010 S80 would be nice as well.

The 2010 S60 emblem is $40 from Tasca.

The 2007-2009 s80 emblem is also $25ish but I think it's not dramatically bigger. I'm going to the dealer on the monday to take a look, take some measurements and pick up the one that might fit.

Answer is yes, but it ain't gonna be cheap. Volvo accessories offers the bigger grill for facelifted models which you could retrofit to the pre facelift models for somewhere around $200+.

The retro fit, essentially buy 08+ grill and then try to fit it to the older front end?

No the 08+ wont be the larger logo, I think 2011 introduce the larger emblem but its available as an accessory for 08+. The retrofit would be removing the slash and logo only from the new grill to fit to your older grill. The grill dimensions are too different between 08+ and -07 unless you want to be cutting up your front bumper cover? Either way it ain't cheap, the belt buckle is the way to go.

Thanks, do you have the measurements? It'd be nice to see if it fits on the grill we have now and if the mounting points fit without too much modification. How would I adhere it? Double sided tape + epoxy?

the dimensions are 5x5 inches..there are clips on the backside of the emblem..my advice would be to clip them off and apply double-sided tape..it's pretty flat on the back..

I just got another version of the emblem in a few minutes ago too..it's a brushed steel finish..take a look..

There's 2 there, brushed steel and plastic? I might opt for the steel one. I'll see if I can get an order in alter.

Just to make things clear..both options are made of ABS Plastic..There are two types of finishes available..Chrome Finish and Brushed Steel Finish..again, they are both made of high-grade durable ABS plastic materials.
