The vote is to have our July meet in Essex again at the Fireman's weekly car cruise. This a great venue, and they let us park together. Any year and model Volvo welcome........ Exit 3 off CT route 9. The Fireman's Park is behind the Essex Firehouse on route 156 [right near the exit]. The guy's in the yellow shirts will direct you to our location.

A clarification........The question came up as to wether you had to be a VCOA member to attend our activities.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A VCOA MEMBER. Our activities are open to all Volvo fans. We are a group of Volvo fans who get together regularly. Some of us belong to VCOA [primarily for the excellent monthly magazine "Rolling", and the Volvo parts discounts], but many of our members do not, and we do not ask anyone attending our activities to join VCOA. We welcome members of other groups such as VSA, swedespeed, turbobricks, volvospeed, etc., with no distinction.............Contact any of the folk on the contact list if you have any questions.

IF IT RAINS TUESDAY, we will meet at the "PIZZA PUB", on the same street [route 154] as the cruise-in. The Pizza Pub is at 15 Main St., Centerbrook, about 0.5 miles north of the cruise-in site. Take the same exit 3 off route 9, and head 0.5 miles north on route 154. It is a brick building on the right.
