Saturday September 17th Golden Gate VCOA Chapter McKevitt Dealership Tour

On Saturday, September 17th, McKevitt Volvo of San Leandro is going to open
its doors and give GGVCOA club members a guided tour of their two car
dealerships. This will be a great opportunity to get a behind the scenes
look at one of the largest Volvo dealerships in the East Bay.

We’ll be meeting at 9:00 am at their Berkeley store for a tour of their
original dealership.:

Billy Tave has made sure that the welcome mats will be out bright an early
Saturday morning with his impeccable PV 544 on display at the Berkeley
store.

Around 10:00 am, we’ll depart from the Berkeley location and a take drive on
Skyline Blvd over to the San Leandro store. The drive will take us down
Shattuck to Ashby, up Ashby to Tunnel Road, a short piece on highway 13 and
then the back way, taking either Skyline or Redwood Road. We’ll arrive at
the San Leandro dealership around 11:00 am. Kristean von der Heiden and Bob
Facio will give us a tour of that facility, answer questions and provide a
light lunch and refreshments. There you’ll see more great cars from the new
S60 to a vintage private collection 544 and P1800.

A few have registered, but I know of several that are coming that haven't registered. I should have a better idea of attendance later today or early tomorrow morning.
