    Hard to work on?

    I am a lisc. Auto body tech, and want to get a Volvo but I heard people saying they are difficult to work on. Is it any different then any other car

    I think the 'hard to work on' comes from US mechanics who only know US cars. Anything is is fuhrun and stoopid.

    Lots of DIYers search out Volvos with well over 100k as used cars, so they can't be that bad to work on.

    I find my Volvo to be very easy to work on, and somewhat enjoyable. However, parts are hard to find, so improvisation may occasionally be needed.
