      your price seems pretty high...

those wheels are all over the place on used C70s..

$500/new is what morons who buy from volvo pay. those can be purchased used or reconditioned for a fraction of that cost from other sources....

aaarims.com sells them for abotu $300 each.

so buying from you is like buying from a retail seller..and I can't return them to you...

if I buy from aaarims I get a warranty. if they aren't 100% straight, I send them back and get new ones...

you need to drop your price....or hope some sucker pays you more than they are worth.

      they are not worth $1200.

      maybe $800...

if they had nice TIRES on them, maybe you could get what you're asking...

i'm not trying to flame you, I just think you're asking too much.

      i just double checked aaarims.com

they actually have the propus for $238/each.

the 18" version of the triton is the more expensive one..

Re: FS: FOUR Volvo/BBS 17 x 7.5" "Propus" wheels (volvoracer)

      wait....it gets better.

aaarims also knocks off $100 if you buy a set of 4...

so I can buy all four, in BRAND NEW condition, for $852.

sorry man...you REALLY gotta drop that price bad if you want to sell here.

the ones at aaarims are not OEM/new..they are used..but they are all factory refurbished..so they will look brand new...better than yours...whcih probably have scrapes/curb rash/etc...

and I get a warranty from them....

sorry...again, not flamin'. if you get $1200 more power to you. I'm just sayin' what I think is fair...

i'm int he market for wheels...i was thninkin of 18s myself...tritons or pegs.

if a sweet deal came oloign on 17s I might bite...

so if you want to talk deal.like $500 I'll be interested.

      Re: FS: FOUR Volvo/BBS 17 x 7.5" "Propus" wheels (23109VC)

While I appreciate your research and multiple posts, I'd like to point out a couple things...

There are 2 sizes of Propus 17s, 7" wide and 7.5" wide., I'm offering the 7.5" version.

I just checked AAA RIMS website for a price on Propus 17x 7.5 rims.
(http://www.aaarims.com/cgi-bin/Web_store/web_store.cgi) web site and the 17 x 7.5 Propus are $298 each. With set-of-four discount of $100 and $14.75 each for shipping, the set is $1151 delivered.
I asked $1200 for a Set of four PLUS one bent rim that might be repairable.

I do guarantee a full refund if buyer isn't happy, he gets to pay return shipping tho'...

My wheels are NOT Reconditioned, Repaired or Damaged. They look to me like they were used for less then one full season.

If they had scrapes or rim damage, I would have mentioned that in my post.

I am happy to supply detailed pix of front and back of all FIVE wheels in the set.

I'm offering FIVE wheels here, buyer gets the bent one free.

So again, thanks for your diligent research, but my price is not all that far out...and...in view of all of the above, your offer of $500 is not in the ballpark...

      Unfortunately,
Used wheels really are not worth that, even with the bent 5th one thrown in.
It costs about 175 to repair a wheel, then you have shipping, etc.
Give it a shot, but 500 to 600 really would be in line

Re: FS: FOUR Volvo/BBS 17 x 7.5" "Propus" wheels (volvoracer)

      hey volvoracer.

the most sought after wheels right now for volvos..IMHO are the 18" pegasus wheels.

those can be had for under $900/set from the TX Volvo dealer we all post about.

you want more than that for useed 17s....

on top of that, the propus wheel doesn't look all that good on many volvos except the C70.

you'll have to drop your price to attrack a buyer.

at your asking price, i"ll easily take pegs over propus wheels.

you may want to try ebay. if you can get that kind of $$ for those wheels...more power to you.

i'm just trying to candid when I say I think most of the people here won't be interested at that price.

      sorry. I know I wouldn't be.

      maybe for $500

the bent wheel is junk. like JRL said..it will cost as much to fix it as to almost buy a new one.

If you don't want these wheels, why continually post it here?

Would you post to a guy selling an 850R to tell him an S60R looks better and is faster and his price is too high and what you really want is a V70R anyway?

This is the Wheel&Tire "Want Ads" not the "I Don't Want Ads"...

If you want Pegasus, go for it...but give me a break please.

ok. i just have been cruising this board looking for used pegs, titans, or volans. saw your post and wanted to check the price...for a low enough price, I might be interested..which was my point.

it's kind of like...I definitely don't want them at the price your offering them at. At a lower price, they might be attractive. a deal is a deal.

your price is too high for me. maybe another buyer will LOVE them and want them so bad they'll buy them on the spot.

I hope you get exactly what you are; asking for. like I said, more power to you.

maybe I just talk too much and I was just throwing in my $.02...

sorry if I offended you. I won't post on this thread anymore.

good luck wtih your sale. as I said before, you may get soem good bits on ebay.

Sean, please take that to a PM. Thats horribly tacky to publicly bash someones pricing for an item like that.

Re: FS: FOUR Volvo/BBS 17 x 7.5" "Propus" wheels (volvoracer)

    13. #13

sorry if my price nit picking botheredanyone.

maybe I saved some poor scker from spending too much...

      Nice wheels...

...but show the 4 straight ones. I can see one of those is bent.
