There was a kit available from Volvo as an update but I'm not sure if they still offer them. We have never had that particular kit but it looks like the individual parts may be available at the dealer level.
The cooler part number is 30636905
the bracket is 30636809
The hoses are 30792755 and 30792756
The miscellaneous bolts will be 985179 x 2, 985187 x 1, 985181 and a clip number 30680112
Back in 05 I sourced all the parts to install this on my R. There was no kit available at the time. Either the hoses or bracket had to be ordered from the UK.
It's been working just fine on my 04. I don't have temp readings but it's nice knowing there is a bypass control in the unit that shuts down flow when the temp it too low and opens when it's hot.
Wow. For some reason I read "Oil cooler" not Tranny cooler. Oops lol that's why I asked.. I knew I saw an oil cooler on my engine.
BUT, I put another inline tranny cooler after the stock one that is in the radiator. Does a good job, but not good enough. on the return line from the cooler to the engine I spliced in the aux cooler from B&M and it seems to be doing a great job. Need to get a temp gauge though.
