Oh, and I can't read Norwegian.
I've never hit a cyclist in my life, although I've been hit by a couple.

Short rules: stick to the right side of the road, not on the oncoming side. Round red sign with a vertical white stripe means one way street and you're at the wrong end. White edged, blue sign means mandatory action, like stay left, right, one way street and you're at the right end. Red edged, white triangle pointing up means hazard, like an S-turn, speedbumps, and so on, and the occasional moose, or sewerwolf. Red edged, white triangle pointing down means yield, to everybody, including pedestrians. Black and white edged, yellow square tilted 45° means you have the right of way. Green means go, yellow means pedal like crazy, red means this will hurt. All this applies when you're on the road, on sidewalks you're technically bot allowed to ride a bike faster than walking pace.

You don't lose your license if you hit a pedestrian (or cyclist )... unless it was on purpose. If it was, you have a lot more to worry about than your license!
Personally over the years I can think of 1000 cyclists who I would have liked to run off the road. They think they own it and no (traffic) rule applies to them.
Yeah, here you do. Unless it can be unmistakingly proven the person hit was at fault, your right to operate a motor vehicle (including motorcycles, electric bikes that go faster than 20km/h and sit down lawn mowers) is suspended routinely, and given back to you when or if your case is cleared in your favour.

Riding a bike on streets where I live is deadly. I think people try to kill them. Of course the bikers go onto roads with high speed limits and then back up traffic which makes them a prime target of road rage.

Yesterday, our wagon left us stranded. The steering linkage “locknut” disappeared on our travels, and the handle bent the fork and fell off. I was able to catch a ride to a tiny “hardware store” that didn’t have any metric nuts. I bought SAE crap, limped it back to the hotel, and borrowed tools from the maintenance staff to get it roadworthy again. For the past six weeks, I’ve been living in Philly while my 5 year old undergoes an experimental treatment for his leukemia. We couldn’t drive up, so not being able to be without a wagon wasn’t an option. I found a collapsible Radio Flyer, and on days when he’s not inpatient, and has felt up to it, have been pulling him 5–10 miles around Philly catching Pokemon and exploring. We’ve logged nearly 120 miles so far. Wagons FTW!

This pales in comparison to say the least but I've been trying to track down the source of this oil that started appearing on my driver's side mat in my R about four days ago.

My only guess is that it's coming from the brake booster, which means master cylinder failure as well as booster replacement. I have an eight mile commute and this is all that appears. Two days ago I tied a small rag around the shaft that connects the brake pedal to the booster.

It's really odd that the rag is bone dry and I still get the drips in those same spots. The oils smells nothing like brake fluid either.

Not constant, only happens while driving, I can't see any visible areas where it would drip from after I park.

      Anyone ever have this happen?

Nice job on the fix with makeshift parts and unfamiliar tools
Best of luck to your son in his treatment!

Drove it up to the cabin in the mountains. The Michelin PS4s make trips like this a blast, ride is so much better than the rock hard Nankangs it came with. Got cocky and tried driving up the last 100m to the cabin, in a few inches of snow, on summer tires, because AWD. Didn't go so well. Cabin is the only one up this road though, so the wagon is spending the night alone down the road. Hits me right in the feelz

it's the special flange tool for the tank.
      https://www.amazon.com/Schley-Produc.../dp/B00820NOWG

but I figure that if this thing works we could ship them for like $12-15. I'm not sure what flat rate box it's gonna take.
and that's better than spending $40+shipping on something you'll probably only use once.
