I have been wanting to get out to Car & Coffee, but I just always see to have plans with the family on those particular Saturdays. Are you there every event? I may very well make a point of getting out there once my suspension it done.

Do you have your TCV plumbed like this:

PORT 1 (RIGHT SIDE) CONNECTS TO THE HOSE WITH THE BLUE MARKING - intake
PORT 2 (LEFT SIDE) CONNECTS TO THE HOSE WITH THE YELLOW MARKING - wastegate
PORT 3 (MIDDLE) CONNECTS TO THE HOSE WITH THE RED MARKING - turbo

It's plumbed like this, mines not from IPD but is the same valve. Only diff is I had to put it together and it cost me 30.00.

They're not the same. You're using the standard MAC 35A-AAA-DDBA-1BA* valve and those are plumbed differently than the version that IPD sells which is a 35L valve:

      http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthr...=1#post2392029

      http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?178332

*I had the 35A-AAA-DDBA-1BA on my old S70 for almost 4 years and I had it plumbed the same way as ARD/Fuzzy/Snabb:

Compressor (red) should go to Port 3.
Wastegate (yellow) should go to Port 2.
Intake (blue) should go to Port 1.

      this is really helpful.
i would have thought that all these TCVs would be plumbed just the same for ease, but, alas, it turns out not to be the case.

I went to the pick-n-pull today. Snagged a better functioning turn signal switch. Also managed to get the lens and gauge cluster trim out of a '07 S60 that had the silver rings around the gauges. That really dressed up my cluster! And can't beat $5.00 for everything!!

You want it plumbed as specified so that if the solenoid were to ever fail, it would fail in the normally-open position just like the stock solenoid.

Wow! That's a great $5 spent! None of the yards around here ever seem to have anything late model. I've been curious about the silver gauge rings—do you have to swap the gauge faces like with the R or S80 clusters? Or do the rings just pop off and into place on our clusters? If I can ever get my hands on a set, I'll definitely grab them. I love the S80 faces I put on my wife's car…but don't like how the illumination isn't even.

Someone before I owned my car put in aftermarket ceramic pads....no brake dust. Absolutely amazing. I have no idea what I'm using but they have a great feel and have no brake dust. They do seem to perform slightly better when warm

I haven't put a ton of miles on yet (I live a mile from work), but so far I've been impressed. Rotors are zinc-coated, and no noticeable brake dust yet. And after rebates, pads and rotors at all four corners, plus e-brake shoes and hardware was under $210 shipped. You can't beat that!

This is what I put in the car. All it was was trim with lense. You'll see exactly what I got in the photos below.

This is my old cluster trim.

Here you can see all of the clips that hold the trim unit into the cluster gauge assembly.

Very easy swap. Remove steering column "clam shell", remove the bezel in front of the cluster assembly, remove 4 screws holding the cluster, pull cluster forward and unplug harness. Carefully lift tabs holding trim onto cluster. Remove old cluster trim and swap with new. Reassembly is reverse of removal.

Love very classy in my opinion.

Thanks XJFLEXER. That's all I needed. I've had my wife's cluster apart several times. I just didn't know on those clusters if you could just pull the rings, or if you needed the whole face. Good to know what I need—thanks for clarifying!

I installed an OBX catback exhaust on my V70 T5 yesterday evening. For the price, the quality is quite nice. Installation was a breeze. I still need to tweak the alignment of the system a hair. It sounds FANTASTIC!! No drone at all. On the highway at 70mph, the car is almost as quiet as it was with the factory exhaust. The tailpipe is a bit excessive and sticks out a touch farther than I would care for it to, but I can live with it. Also, on the new(er) system, they have gone to an oval tailpipe design. It is not oriented correctly. It could stand to be rotated a few degrees for the tip to sit properly. There was absolutely no way for me to adjust the exhaust to get the tip 100% level. BUT, I am okay with it. All in all, for the price, I am quite happy.

Finally finished my new car stereo installation. I've been plotting for months, but it's finally done.

Pioneer 8100NEX with Unican Plus to control the steering wheel.

In the center console I installed flush mount USB/AUX/HDMI ports.

      It's awesome!

Very nice, Sigg! I remember that when Ronal ceased operations in the US, they sold the remaining inventory to IPD. Looks really good on P2 V70.

Installed H&R sport springs and Bilstein Sport shocks and struts. Also, Powerflex front control arm bushings (both front and rear front control arm bushings). Also installed a SNABB intake pipe with stock intake box. Man, this is like a completely different car now. The turbo spools up earlier and much quicker. The suspension, while firm (which is what I wanted) is very smooth and comfortable. I wanted it to ride/drive somewhat like my wife's 2008 VW GTi (I LOVE that GTi). I got exactly what I wanted and more!!! I will post pics showing the stance soon.
