Oh yeah, I only mountain bike so can't speak for the road bike wind issue. Also haven't managed to crack my old Trek CF frame yet with the grip system.

So here is what the Thule 528 looks like:

Real happy with this setup, bike was solid even on the freeway and high winds. Still need to get some more lock cylinders so I can lock my bike on the rack.

And a pic with my ancient mountain bike, old school with no suspension! Probably time for an upgrade!

Haven't updated this thread in forever. But it wasn't my intention to have a "build" thread anyway.

My car has over 23,xxx miles now. Has been great, no issues or regrets. After a pothole incident a few weeks ago, decided to upgrade the wheels and tires. Chicago winters have been mild recently, so all seasons have been fine. And I do not miss swapping wheels twice a year as I used to always do, so again went with all seasons. Since I liked the Pirelli Cinturato P7 Plus before, got another set but 235/40R-19. Paired them with some 19x8.5 +45 O.Z. Ultraleggera HLTs. Color is a little darker than I thought it would be, but I like the look.

Ride quality has changed a little, but still daily driver friendly. Large bumps are a little harsher, and there is a little more road noise, but it is not as bad as I was expecting based on comments here. The +45 offset also fills the wheel wells out, no rubbing so far. Was also concerned that the wheel gap would look worse with the 19s, but surprisingly the R-Design suspension looks pretty good. Ideally the car would be a little lower, but I am satisfied with how it looks now.

I saw that on Instagram and wondered if they were OZ wheels. Looks good, and nice to know you haven't had any issues with scrubbing on 8.5 and +45

Actually, it might not be yours, perhaps another White R Design with similar looking rims

I have seen that Japanese V60 before on Instagram. They never say what wheels they have on their T5, but its a nice car. Plus that Sakura shot is amazing!
