Had the second meeting of the Ramstein "R Gang", 7 of us this time, although parking at Ramstein prevented us from getting a good picture of our cars together, will keep trying. Talked about ECU options, exhaust options, ECU/SUM upgrades, accessories and had a great lunch. Anyone in Germany who is interested in getting on our e-mail distro, please contact me.

We also planned a driving tour for next Saturday, 15 Jan. Decided on Mosel River Valley. We will start at Ramstein at 1000, take A6-A62-A1, hit the river at Alf (85 miles), follow the river visiting Cochem Castle and grabbing lunch (~1200). Continue to Burg Eltz then to Gandorf (50 miles) then back to Ramstein via A61, A63, A6 (100 miles).

Britspeed, this would be a great chance for the Ramstein guys to meet up with the Spang guys, let me know if any of you are interested, we can meet you at Spang at 1100 or something.

Sounds like a great excuse to go skiing in Garmisch. Maybe in Feb...

Any suggestions on where to find a 4 wheel dynometer by Kaiserslautern? Don't speak Germany, so tough to search Internet for something like that.

BTW, are you in the Neuried by Munchen, Rosenheim, Dachau or Schwandorf?

    tks,

If interested, I can recommend several excellent wineries in the Mittelmosel region, near Bernkastel-Kues, if you're going that far.

Alternately, check out http://www.wein-plus.com. Their rating systems for both wineries and individual wines are very good. They really helped when planning wine tasting/buying trips.

Sounds good, although my boss's "pinning on major" party is the same day. If not myself I hope some of the Spang guys can attend. We are close to the places you mentioned.

BTW, the silver V70 R in the pic looks very nice. First V I have seen in that color.

Jesse or Bryan, if you see this please respond.

Do they use German plates now. Not the white USA plates?

Ramstein "R" gang, I'd love to make it, but we have other plans for the week-end. Normally on 3-day or long weekends we usually plan a road trip some where. Next week-end we are visiting relatives in Amsterdam. I'd love to join if I didn't already have plans!!!!

Sorry !!! Maybe next time !!!!!

You have your choice whether you want Euro style or US style, most people choose the Euro style with the S-60.

No, I can't make it this weekend... Just in case you were not aware Burg Eltz is not open again until April,
