Had a blast, drove on autobahn, city roads, country roads, tight mountain switchbacks, and narrow cobblestone streets (Comfort ). Beautiful drive along the river. Everyone had a blast, was cool to see a string of Rs in the rearview. Ate lunch in Cochem (castle in background). Hopefully Spang guys will be able to come along on next trip, will let you know when it is Britspeed. With our first female and first Magic Blue, total KMC R Gang list now at 12, but many more R owners in area we haven't tracked down yet.

Looks like such a great time! Too bad I'm six time zones away or I would have been there....

I LOVE Europe. The mountains, castles, autobahn, European cars and license plates, etc. BTW, where are the country stickers for the back of the car? Are they now included in the EU plates?

I know we were getting some looks, remember a loaded R costs 80K Euro ~ $110K here in Germany. Felt like I was in a Volvo commercial, especially on the country/mountain roads, seeing them all hit the turns in my rear view. Can't wait till next month, hopefully will get at least 8 members to go...

Everyone on this trip is air force, but we have army guys and civilians in the group. KMC = Kaiserslautern Military Community, I think there is about 30K americans (active duty, dependents & civilians) in the local area between USAFE HQ, AIRNORTH HQ (NATO), Ramstein AB, Sembach AB, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Kleber Kaserne, Rhine Ordinance Barracks, Kapaun Air Station, Misau Ammo Depooot, Pulaski Barracks, Donner Kaserne, list goes on.

On the Mosel River....between Trier and Koblenz. Cochem is the village/castle in the background.
