Thread: PV544 Good Home

  1. 03-07-2005 07:21 PM #1
My grandfather owned a 1962 PV544, and I recieved the car when I was 16. I unfortunately need to sell the car because I am leaving the country and no one else in the family is interested in taking her. I would like to sell her to a good home that would appreciate her as much as I have. She has a lot of sentimental value. She has a bit of an oil leak. Does anyone have any advice how to approach selling her, or because of the non-operational issue should I consider a parts lot for her, which I really hope is not the case. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If it's a clean car, I doubt you'd have a problem selling her, even with a dead motor. How much are you looking to get.

You might also consider posting thisa in the VCOA forums, also found on this site. I was just having a discussion this past weekend with one of the VCOA guys about a car like this.

Also, if you have any pictures, pleasae cosider posting them.
