DETAILS FOR THE 1 MAY GTG:For those of us coming from Ramstein area, we will meet up at the Burger King at 0830. Please park along street for a group pic (Doug, if you could play nice and line up with the rest of us this time
)

Should allow time for a quick bite to eat if you want, and then we will be on the road by 0900. Only takes an hour to get there A62-A1-A48-B259/257/258 Follow the signs to Nurburgring. If you need to buy tickets, you can also get them at the Grand Prix / tourist info parking area - buying them at Nordschleife entrance area can be difficult, hard to find a place to park amongst all the Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Loti, Porsches...
.

Tourist info where you can buy tickets, reccomend the 6 trip for 80 Euro, can be used on future dates.

Nordschleiffe entrance is 1.5 km further up the road past Grand Prix entrance, look for Nordschleiffe signs, exit to the right, go under the road.
Regardless, would like everyone to meet up on grassy area which is off round-about exit directly across from Nordschleiffe entrance around 1030.

From there we can line everyone up and go take over the ring
Other notes:
for those of you savvy enough to buy the nav, the track displays on your nav system. On straight-aways, quick glance gives you great heads up to upcoming turn patterns.
after you enter track, just past cones that force you to the left, you can line up on the right if you want to have a "group start". This is a great place to reset your "average speed" on your trip computer right before you floor it, easy way to track your improvement over the day.
to the side of the Nordschleiffe entrance is the BMW "Gazebo" where you can reserve rides in the Ring Taxi. cost is 175 Euro for the car, so split that 3 ways. 58 Euro to ride the ring with the best ring drivers in the world in a 500hp M5, I need two other people who are interested
Hey Spang guys, we heard that you can use a VAT form for purchasing your passes, but no one would take them--is that bad gouge???
Have to say, yesterday was the most fun I've had in Germany. Looking forward to seeing all of you again, or for the very first time.
