You think someone as open as he is about his rice-ey-ness isn't going to do any aesthetic mods?

I'll say this, all modifications (cosmetic and performance) will of my wife's choosing. But she has pretty good taste.

Indeed! Our cars were twins from the factory.
Being AWD, my wife has requested I find a cross country decal for the hatch, do you mind sharing where you got yours? Do they come in different sizes?

There is a fella on eBay he is located in Canada and I bought these numerous times from him for the other XC90s. He used to sell them in pairs of 2 for 19.99$ shipped to the US... but now his pricing has changed but the style is also much improved too..

Here is a link to his store.

So looking at the list of stuff you have on yours mine is quite a bit basic in comparison, maybe that makes it a bit more rare since most of them were loaded like yours.

Puddle Lights - DONT have those.
      Sunroof - DONT have
      Leather Interior - DONT have
Brushed Aluminum Interior Trim - YES
      Power/Memory Driver Seat - YES
      Power Passenger Seat - YES
      Cargo Cover - YES
      Auto/Dual Climate - YES
      Roof Rails - NO
      Dynamic Trim - YES
      Cargo Net - NO
320mm Brakes - NO 300... upgraded to 320... not sure why my 06 didnt have them yours did. I thought they didnt become standard until later.
Roof Spoiler - YES and its glorious.
      OEM Strut Bar - YEP
      Homelink Visor NO
Auto-dimming Mirror with Compass NO I wish.
      TSW Nurburgring 18" x 8" ET+40 ... looks amazing.
      Roof Basket NO
      Custom Fire Extinguisher Mount NO

Still fun to see two alike. Until now i thought i owned the only one with Dynamic pack in silver V50.

I actually built and installed that fire extinguisher bracket for the previous owner back in early 2014.

Yours is the only other Silver dynamic trim AWD M66 that I have seen on the road or online. I'm sure there are a few more out there, but they're darn rare.

I've got one, but the dynamic trim was beat so I took it off and replaced it with the standard trim + the PO had replaced the 18" wheels with the oem 17" wheels which suits me fine.

Btw, ever notice how the dynamic trim is painted a different color? I don't think it's 426 Mystic silver.

I think it's just the angle of the trim. On most cars I've seen, the dynamic trim looks a shade darker than the body.

Same here! I'm considering the Volvo Aux Lighting kit, so as to get all the bits (fuse, button for console, etc). Don't really want to drill my front bumper so putting them on the roof is a good alternative. The only thought I had was to run the wire down a drain pipe. However that has negatives, getting snagged, blocking a drain....

I'm guessing he tapped into the power in the trunk - I used that for a powered hitch but it looks like it's meant for a harness/optional feature.

Soon, I promise! Need to cleanly install the switch before I get pictures and footage of the full install process. Hoping to have it finished by this weekend, but work has been crazy coming back from the long weekend.

What drain pipe are you referring to? I'm not going through the sunroof, if that's what you mean.
Running the wiring under the channel between the windshield an the A-pillar.

Power is coming straight from the battery with a relay going to an ignition source. That way the lights can only be operate when the vehicle is running.

Any plans for window tint next?
I did not like the aquarium look on mine so i went and did 35% all around and that did the trick, now yours being black interior 35 may look a bit dark but it all depends on your taste.
Roof basket looks great, how is the wind noise with it on?
I had one for a long time and couldnt stand how loud it was so it finally had to go.

I agree, I hate people looking at me in my car! Like my previous V50, it'll be getting 20% tint all around (except the windshield of course).

Wind noise is VERY minimal, I'm actually quite impressed. You can only hear a whistling noise with the sunroof open. But I still plan to build a custom fairing that bolts to the roof rails.

Huh. So did you drill a hole in the roof for the wiring? or... ???
