Well hot damn, this was the best one ever. R-Gang (Ramstein area owners) met up at Burger King at 0800. 7 is our best turnout and first trip for Steve and his son Pierre (silver V70R), as well as first outing for Renato (MB S60R).

I chose not to lead this time so I could roam and take pics as well as do some decibel measurements with new exhaust. (will post those details in a later thread).

We had a total of 13 S60/V70Rs (Sean arrived later so his '04 silver S60 not in pic and Patrick from Heico came later as well). We also had 3 previous generation Rs. 16 Rs (plus Florian dropped by).

after meeting up and everyone showing off different mods I brought complete extra Svenske set up - BMC Filter/DP/Exhaust with 2 & 3 resonator option. Also showed off Digital Jukebox (not installed yet), Ultimate pedals (still haven't got around to those), front and rear Evolve Sway bars, iPOD and USA Spec interface. Richard, everyone was fawning over your exhaust set-up, especially when they heard Russ' and my exhausts.

I would expect some long distance phone calls.
Hey everyone post what you showed as well, Jesse you had Evolve discs that were new I think.
After that, some people went to take a lap, others went to reserve place at restaurant, and still others waited for ADAC to come unlock their doors - after having their foot ran over by a little Renault. European owners, don't forget you have a Volvo assist who will call and pay for ADAC to come out.
Ahem, so again great lunch at Giulia's pizzeria in Adenau, under the Ring. LOTS of goodies to give away:

Gerry
Doug

Fernand (Bavaria R) He is smiling really big because besides the hat and T-shirt,

he won the grand prize - $1199 Ceramic coated Svenske 3" DP with Random Technology racing cat. Thanks again Richard

Also, great donations from:
ipd
Autozentrum 2000 (Homburg Volvo)
VCNA
swedespeed
Pirelli
takspeed
BSR
Spang Gang
I donated the OMP aluminum racing pedals, and then promptly won them in the raffle. Not only could I not sell them, I couldn't even give them away.
Svenske Racing also generously picked up the lunch tab, (if Richard raises prices soon, you can blame us)
Russ had to make an early exit with the family - but looking and sounding fierce -

Sporting some sponsor goodies

Horse vs. Moose

Gratuitous Ferrari pic

btw, the Moose stickers were a HUGE hit at the ring. My exhaust got everyones attention (you could just see the looks of, what the f**K? that's a Volvo
) and then the laughs and thumbs up for the moose. I brought two extra sets, plus Doug, so Moose was in the house.
My new favorite picture - vizwiz, when does round 2 begin?
Gratuitous pics of Inga, because well they look nice IMO and it's my thread.

Heico showed up in the afternoon with whole fleet of cars, S40s, V50s, C70s and this S60R with insane 20" Volutions.

Carbon fiber mirror anyone?

Lots of ring closures due to people exceeding their capabilities today, made it hard to get laps in. I got one in that was my best ever, total blast because I was last person to be allowed on track before temporary closure, so I didn't have to worry about anyone passing me. I improved my average MPH by 2 so very happy.
I missed out on a ride with Florian, but Todd was there again and he gave me a 8:40 ring lap in his WRX. That is VERY FAST.

he is a VERY good driver in an amazing track machine. I'm still dizzy...
Nurburg Castle

Nice pic of Renatos Magic Blue a$$ on way home.

Just some of the amazing scenary we drive through to get to the ring.

Final group shot, missing about 10 people.

Again thanks to everyone for coming out and making this a huge success. And a special thanks to our sponsors. Stay safe and keep enjoying your R.
Now I know there were a lot of people taking pics and a lot of little anecdotes from today, I expect to see some more pics, posts and replies from the R community.
