Aren't there "hidden" eq adjustments on the sc 901? Maybe if you can get into that menu you can fine tune the settings for the center channel. I'm not familiar with how to access these menus, though.

L and R individual speaker adjustments. I screwed with everything but ended up going back to stock v70 sound stage with rear speakers turned up.

It's hard to dial in a custom EQ without getting distortion. Takes a lot of playing with it and I still haven't found one that's completely distortion free on everything I want to listen to.

For anyone who's added a center channel, was your center speaker harness just two wires? Blue and blue with white stripe?
I wouldn't call mine "quite loud," either. It is loud enough to notice that it is working properly. I should have listened to your system when I was there..............or just bring that car to Mystic if you come by land and we can compare to my T-5R.

Mine is two functional wires but there is at least one more that has been cut. idk what it is supposed to go to.

Am I missing something? Do I need a driver?

      I'm running Windows xp.
      I'm still stuck on this.

So I figured the problem out with the scan program. When I reinstalled the center console, I forgot to plug the port back in. I try not to make dumb mistakes like that.

I also installed the amp and the radio is now working great.

Not a Volvo but I did some work on my old pickup so I can get ready to sell it. The motor runs great but it leaked oil and looked bad. I pulled the valve covers and intake to take care of the oil leaks. I still need to reseal and paint the oil pan, replace the plugs and points.
