They have some cool stuff there.........but they don't ship to the states . I guess the only way to get stuff from them is send it to someone in the area and then have them forward it to the states.

The lip is made in belgium, read it on a note under the lip. I can check next time what company makes them and maybe you can email them if its possible to ship to US!

I love gritty racecars/hill climb with crazy aero and love playing around in photoshop.

What do you guys think about this diffuser for 850? I would love to have a few projects to work with when I get workspace and spare time!

I think #2 looks the best. A rear diffuser would definitely be an improvement; I have followed my T-5R on the road a few times and ther is way too much open space back there imo.

Say I wanted to make a rear diffuser for the 850, anybody got any tips since I've read a bit about it and everybody is talking about the parachute effect. I understand what that means but is there a way to avoid that without having to cut the bodywork?

You could look into making your own carbon fibre diffuser, that'd be a cool project! Ambitious, but very cool and probably not terribly expensive... With a simple design like #2 (also my favourite of the 3), I think you'd only need 2 moulds - 1 for the fins, and 1 large one for the upper part that bends down on either side. If you are handy with any CAD software it would make your life a lot easier

Btw I don't think I've commented in your thread yet, nice T5-R! I really like how the nebula wheels look, and that black hood is actually pretty decent for now

I'd think I'll go with 0,7mm sheet metal. I can get a 50x100cm sheet for about $13! Hopefully it's wide enough for my plan but I think it's gonna be close. Then buy another sheet, maybe thicker (I can choose from 0,7 to 1,2cm) for the fins and then spray everything black. I'd love to get into moulding at some point in life but right now I'm living in a 2 bedroom apartment without a garage so it's kinda hard to get into something when I have no place to be..

CAD software is something I want to explore! I'm reading to become a technical illustrator and we have unfortunately not worked with 3D as much as I'd wanted to but at some point I'll sit down and watch tons of tutorials!

Thank you! Looking good from afar but she's kinda rough. But this is my car for life so stress is something I'm not worrying about. Runs great and barely any rust. Yeah, the black hood is temporary but looks way better than a red hood

This is the best day of the year.

The tax is paid and the car is now in traffic!
It also got a shower today.

Today, me and my friend went to OKQ8 (swedish gas/washing station) to give our cars some extra love!

This is the first time I've ever done an oil exchange but luckily my friend had done it before. I accidentally gave my engine too much oil and it hit me that my engine is smaller than my friends 2.3L Lifted it back up, drained some oil and got it perfect. Later I gave it a nice power wash and lots of degreaser and I don't know if it's some placebo effect but the car feels so smooth do drive afterwards!

Ended with a nice group picture!

Made a short 62 mile trip to Munkfors to pick up 4 good 215/35-18 tires!

My car didnt make the inspection with the tires I had on so I started to search on our kind of craigslist and found 2 of these tires that had been out for a month, 7mm pattern and unevenly worn (worn on the sides).

One day later, another guy were selling 2 (!) 215/35-18 tires with 6mm! These are the only 4 215 tires in entire Wermlandia and I managed to snag them all. The first guy asked for $67 for these tires and the other guy asked for $56.
$110 later I went home with these 4 tires and they all look great for the price. My brother will help me dismantle the old tires and mount the new ones on monday. Can't wait!

I'm currently running 225/40-18 and they rub in the front when I turn the wheel all the way. This is why I want 215/35

I have a picture but it's pretty nasty composed lol, dirty wheels in the back of my car taken with flash in the darkness, not a gorgeous sight but I'll get better pictures soon!

No more rubbing! The wheels might get mounted this week/weekend!

Since it's such a beautiful day here in Sweden, my girlfriend and I decided to take a drive to the lake with our dog just to sit down for a minute.
It was very relaxing and the road there is so fun. Your typical tight motorbike road. I remember driving that road a couple of years ago and took a turn in 50 mph. The car understeered as a mofo and boated like
a 1970 muscle car. This time I drove the same speed but the car stayed flat and took the turn like a king. 0 amount of understeer and it felt like I could've gone way faster.

It feels so good to drive a car after modifying it to your likings and really notice how different and stable it has become.

(Some guys at the swedish forum are starting to notice every photo I take is the same 2 angles, but while I'm really like taking picture with alot in them (and just not the car in focus) I'm agreeing with them and I will try to take some more interesting images and angles!

Things are happening slowly but steady, decided to wash the engine bay with degreaser, a brush and washed it away with water. Far from perfect but definitively looks a bit nicer.

My dad kept me company and changed the oil on his 65' F85 Cutlass!
I also removed the headlight trim to reach with degreaser.

      Here's why!

Four layer of liquid rubber (plastidip) and finally no more light gray trim!

I had one extra grille laying around and decided to painting it black as I waited for the dip to dry between layers. Looks decent but unfortunately it looks waaaay better at night...

Back and door trim is left to dip, but that will maybe be done later today!

Day number two on small fixes.

      *Changed existing emblems
      *Added the TWR flag
      *Painted the remaining trim
      *Cleaned behind the door trims
*Changed the squirt-nozzles to v70 ones

I'm gonna let the pictures talk for themselves.

Plasti dip is $25/can here so maybe I will wait a bit to see how your trim holds up before trying it out:P

I'd say that's very good sign!

My list of things is mostly typical wear items for its age - brakes, tie rods, control arms, fuel filter, etc. And a few other things like finding boost leaks, replacing the radio antenna, and blown trunk struts. Oh yeah, my handbrake doesn't really work either haha.

Should drive like new once they're all done so I'm really looking forward to that
