XC90 Headlights: Change to Bi-Xenon
I want to change my headlights from conventional to Bi-Xenon type. My XC90 is (2011 model). The XC90 early 2015 models have the Bi-Xenon headlights and LED tails.
1. Does anyone know if it fits?
2. What is the Part No.?
Thanks in advance for your help.
It can be done, and it does fit. It does however require quite a bit of wiring to function without error codes. They also will not function as "Active Xenons", so you won't have them turn when you turn or self level. As to the part numbers, there are several ranging from 2007-2014 that will fit, and from what I have seen they are all very similar. Some early ones have different ballast types than the newer ones. Speaking from experience, the upgrade from halogen to xenon is still totally worth it even without the active xenon portion.
I think you were asking about the LED tails too, and those do fit as well. They also require at least one and possible two resistors to be installed to have no error codes.
