Good colors to paint an 05 S60R?

My car was hit and it needs a new paint job. As of right now I have Electric Silver. I kind of want my car to pop a little more. I'm considering painting it metallic black and get bronze rims

      Cream yellow of course!

Here is a terrible pshop I did of a VR I found on Google years ago. I've been thinking of getting my car wrapped in the color. Cream yellow t5r is so sexy so why not P2 also?

I'm very partial to a good pearl white on the S60's. Especially, against a nordkap interior. Some colors do well with a feature-rich exterior like a high end sports car or something like the modern M-series BMW's. I think for cars with a simpler body design, pearl white brings it to life.

Neither white nor cream yellow are "snappy" colors in my opinion. Your idea of metallic black is a great one as is the dark blue that Volvo had that year. Mine is magic blue metallic which I am very partial to. My signature will give you an idea what that looks like. Good luck.

Yes to cream yellow, but yellow rub strips and dark gray cladding at the bottom.

Yep. Purely subjective. Especially being that there is so much agreement in this thread that a shade of grey is a snappy color.

That said, I could see an R pulling off nardo grey with the right set of wheels.

I know I'm the weird one here, but I don't see what the fuss is all about with the Nardo grey. It's okay imo, but not the first colour I would choose. Each to their own I guess.

How about that Polestar colour? (Volvo racing Green which is actually blue)

I don't get how one thinks silver is boring yet black, another vanilla color, pops.

If I were doing a respray, I would go completely different from any color that Rs came with. Cream yellow has been done as evidenced above, Saffron has been done as well. If I could, I would do Orange Flame or Ocean Race Blue or Olive Green.

      Just kidding

      everybody like something different.

Personally i do like the Nardo Grey, it something completely different but yet it suits the car, makes its lines/shape come out really good.
Not so much a fan of very shiny and blingy things, those don't suit a car like the S60/V70.

White, cream yellow, Safron and Polestar Blue don't belong on these models i think.
The stock Sonic Blue is a good one though, Flash Green not so much, but hey almost cult

I think i would be very happy with Electric Silver, get the car some dark(er) wheels to give it some contrast color wise, should be good and aggressive, yet distinguished

Minor point but, the '05's came in mystic silver, not electric silver.
