  2. 11-06-2006 06:40 PM #3
i have many clips , the problem is the internet connection (kinda poor) so it takes a while to upload a clip and i don't have either the time or the nerves to do it

    Hey Passat,

What have you done to your car? That can't just be an ECU remap, is it?

I think the only company who makes an intake is K&N... the typhoon intake 69-9000TP

passat, do you have a bov on your car?

  13. 11-07-2006 12:19 AM #15
    Sweet runs.

  14. 11-07-2006 12:24 AM #16
look into an aeromotive pump http://www.aeromotiveinc.com/listing.php?cat=1 or a MSD boost a pump http://www.msdignition.com/fuel_7.htm

those (esp if you go all out and get a big aeromotive) will move more fuel than youll ever need in an s40

Would you mind pointing me in the direction of a link where I could check out the forge motorsport bov, and how you has the diverter closed.

  20. 11-07-2006 09:59 AM #22
    i don't know wheather it's on the site or not ,but they sure have one especially for the s40 t5, the link is http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk , i've talked to them directly over the phone when and during installation ;

unfortunatelly, and somehow hard to believe , we do not have a track in Bucharest , nor in Romania yet

  24. 11-07-2006 11:21 PM #26
hey passat car is running well dude...but was woundering what kind of ecu upgrade was done to your s40

  25. 11-07-2006 11:38 PM #27
Its the BSR stage 3 plus an intake-- about 290 HP

  26. 11-08-2006 12:23 AM #28
Wow, ... (stock vs 330ci) ... its hard to believe that a stock S40 could be that quick. the 330ci should be 14.7 in 1/4 mile, and yet you're still quicker.

    Nice vid btw.

Are you still on your stock/original clutch? When you launch, do you slip it or drop it?

  27. 11-08-2006 09:29 AM #29
it depends on the surface I race on ; most times I slip it , but very little , and yes , I'm still on stock clutch ( for now , am thinking of upgrading to Spec stage 3 though )

it was a close one with my buddy with the 330ci , he now has the rs4 , so he's kicking my ass ( for now anyway ) ; anyways , I won by a couple of inches , still a win is a win a I won the group trophy that day , cars from 200 to 250 hp

  28. 11-08-2006 09:30 AM #30
one more thing , I do not have BSR stage 3 , I have a Dimsport custom ECU stage 3

  29. 11-08-2006 09:43 AM #31

Nice car passat.I wonder though why the car catapults initially then bogs down??its like you are shifting into second but too early to do that.
Also you cant tell who wins at the end from those vids?

  31. 11-08-2006 09:56 AM #33
I won every time except when I was stock versus the 350z and the highly modded kadett
with the subaru it was too close to call , I said I won at 1/4 mile , he said he did , so it's up to a rematch to see the difference , problem is he has 310+ hp now , we'll see

  32. 11-08-2006 10:35 AM #34
I am going to upload more clips from when I was still stock , versus a chipped bmw 328 , a chipped bmw 330ci , a pretty modified seat cupra r (arround 270 hp) , a bmw 535 , an opel vectra 2.0 turbo 4x4 ~ 300hp , again the sierra cossworth , I'll see what else I can find on my hard drive
