DAWG GONE!!!!! I purposefully didn't plan anything for the whole month of March because I just knew ya'll wouldn't be doing it Palm Sunday weekend. I'll be in Austin that weekend but Goldy Lox is staying home for the holidays. I'll try to come up to visit at least but the weekend of the 24th sure would be better for Goldy. I got tickets to Jerry Jeff Walker's Birthday Party and Fan Club thingmajiggy at the Driskol on the 31st. JEEEEEZZZ

Free software downloads? - best I get with my contact (Chris Reilly, New Car Sales Manager at Roger Beasley Volvo of Georgetown) and see if he/they might have time to fit us in as that day (last Saturday of the month of March) is usually very busy.Feel free to jump in here and work a deal if you have time...

I'll see if they'll do free software downloads. I'll speak with the two R's from last year who approved it last year.

Was Westinghouse Rd. the best pick? Awfully bumpy, lots of potholes.. might want to consider front body kits.
I will be there as well, that is if you let my Ford in the group![]()

"Was Westinghouse Rd. the best pick? Awfully bumpy, lots of potholes.. might want to consider front body kits."No problem. Choose your route or skip the Poker Run and get all five cards at the Monument Cafe.

BTW, we'll ask Cope and his new pickumup to follow up the last car in the Poker Run and recover Volvo body parts for re-assembly at the Monument Cafe.George Dill

^^ lol... I dont know yet. Maybe the Red '00 V70R or an 850R, or maybe a surprise car, lol.Is there anyone with a modded Volvo coming out?
I will cross post this thread in a Texas Volvo Crew, here is our link, http://z3.invisionfree.com/VS_...t=idx
FYI, I just invited Trey from Bell intercoolers to attend. I told him his Subaru WRX is allowed!!! Very long drawn out, but thorough FMIC project for the P2 "R". My car was the test car for this and I will let everyone look at it very closely. April 30, 2007 is the last day for introductory pricing.Look here to study up on the project:

I'm very glad that it sounds like there will be a good turn out. I'm gonna try to make an appearance to just say hello......with what ever cheap rental they give me. I just updated my Bio and would like to dedicate the poem to all my new Swed friends.I ONCE LOVED ONLY A FORD AND WOULD BE HAPPY TO JUST TALLEY UP THE REPAIR BILLS WITH A HAPPY GLEE.
THEN I FOUND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VOLVO IN THE WORLD, WRECKED AND ABANDONED BY MY SISTER, NOT BY ME.
IT TOOK ONLY 24 HOURS, A WHOLE SLEW OF LOOKIE LOOS FOR CONVINCING THAT THIS WAS A MATCH MEANT TO BE.
AFTER ALL, ALL SHE NEEDED WAS ALITTLE LOVE, ALOT OF AIR CONDITIONING AND A BRAND NEW KEY.
SO I FIX HER UP AND DROVE HER ALL OVER TEXAS WITH THE GREAT PRIDE OF A LOYAL STURDY SWED.
ALWAYS WITH GREAT CARE, A WOLF BRAND CAR COVER, BUT NEVER WITH ALOT OF SPEED.
I FOUND OUT THAT REPAIR COST DIDN'T HAVE TO ADDED UP TO MY ENTIRE PAY CHECK SUCH AS IT MIGHT BE.
AND I ALSO FOUND A GREAT BUNCH OF PEOPLE WHO WERE WILLING TO BE FRIENDS WITH A SWED LOVER LIKE ME.
SO THAT'S MY BIO AND MY STORY TOLD IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME.
NOT TO MENTION THAT I'M ALL OUT OF RHYME.
I might be able to make it in my '94 850 turbo.George I talked to you are the meet there that Slowrey set up.
I'll be there. I am looking forward to sseing some of the newly modified cars and Slowrey's new machine.
George, Wife and I are planning to attend this meet as our first. Any reservations, special hand shake, or something, needed - or just show up in our Volvo of choice? Are there reservation needed for the evening dinning? Thanks ajm
