Cool, this is about a half hour away from me. Now I just need to buy some mods to install for this day. How about a downpipe? Is this something we'd be able to do?
Ok all, I know some of you have been asking about having an Install Day for the guys in the Northeast and here it is, finally!April 5th (or April 6th if it rains)
The location is 433 Queen Street, Southington, CT
We will have 3 bays to pull cars into and as you can see, plenty of room in the parking lot for cars and work to get done! There is a lift, but it isn't working at the moment. I'm trying to get it up and running, but there are no guarantees.
If you guys want to organize a BBQ, I am not opposed (pot luck style), otherwise there are restaurants on Queen Street and in the immediate area.
Anytime you want to show up is fine, but I think an unofficial start time of 9am makes the most sense, so we have a good chunk of time to work on the cars.We are basically just using the building, there are no tools there. So everyone, bring whatever you can fit in the car. If we need power tools, I can arrange to have some stuff there. So bring your parts and your tools and come hang out with some other awesome Volvo guys!
What to bring:
You + friends
Your car
Parts you want to install
Tools (if you have them, bring whatever you can fit and PUT YOUR NAME ON EVERYTHING)
Camera (if you'd like, though I'll be taking photos throughout the day)
Floor jack + jack stands if you have themAny questions or comments or suggestions can be sent to Nick@re-volvparts.com
Also, we should decide if we want to do a pot-luck BBQ or if it's just easier to go out for food, so post up some input.

Sure thing, just make sure you bring everything you need (clamps for the exhaust...) and some PB BLaster to get those damn nuts off!
I hope there will be some interest for this event, as I am a newbie and want to watch while you guys take these cars apart. I have plans to make a really fun S60R MT and want to see what some of you guys have done or are going to do at this GTG. I want to see how to get the front pipe off without breaking the bolts!
I'll buy the pizza if there's enough people coming to make it worth my while to drive down from NH.![]()
