Wait tuddy is a good looking chick also?

Adam you deceiving bast@rd. Anyway yeah lets all hook up when trav comes in. Adam don't give me that maybe crap.

Dave never been to the gingerman. Have you ever been to Mr. Mike's? It's no joke for real, I know a place called Mr. Mike's!
Or we can go to Sin City or someplace real dirty. Unless you guys are bringing women, which I would suggest as a no no. only s60r chick is invited and she has to promise not to get offended by my vulgarity LOL.

Bill a weeknight meet, I don't know. What if we did a city meet for once so as I don't have to travel so far. Your BBQ was good though!

Also will Josh show up or will he still be having problems with his ride(excuse)

What ever happened with our planned cars/bikes meet? I know it's starting to get cold so we'd have to do it like next weekend or so.

I'm in queens and the city all the time but I really hate taking the R there and parking it there. So if we go to the city must be a good place with good parking like a place where w can stuff our faces. There's a Tony Romas now in bayside off of bell blvd and that parking lot is huge. I haven't been there myself but I hear the food is really good there and thats not too far for the ppl way out east. Then if some ppl wanted we ould hit the cheesy bars on bell blvd lol.. Theres also studio sq beer gardens in astoria-cool place where you can get beer at a very good price and food moderately priced and we can chill there and eat and be in a bar but parking is strictly whatever you find on the st. What do you guys think?

Hey Josh....nice to know that you are making it the best of the worse...unfortunately people have to suffer at a company that thinks it makes a decent product, but doesnt.

Anyway, hope you are able to get the ride together.

I like the Gingerman due to the quality of beers and options.

I am "R"less now, and I have another car in pieces... but the T5 is still going strong. I should be able to make something happen w/ a weekend meet, and not for nothing, will most likely be at the Yuengling drive out in PA.

Give me a week or two notice, as I am INSANELY busy with work, side projects, more side projects, car projects (no Volvo related ), house projects, other house projects... you get the gist.

Josh, quit bing such a kitty cat and buy a Scion already... that or leave your car stock...

Funny you said scoin i ran one yesterday and all the guy did was BS me for about 5 min about his mods .... According to him he has CAI, Intake manifold, headers, exhaust, injectors, and a few other minor things ... So i line up with him and put about 4 cars on him slow down and he flys by me then turns his hazards on, i was like seriously ..... So we got a light again line up i let him get the jump and then hand him his behind ! the guy told me my car wasn't stock and that i was using nos .... I said Sure thing and drove away ......

That story seems really boring haha

So yeah i have to piece back together the lady after doing some minor changes on the inside and looking into further customization of the interior .....

As for meets up for one when you guys are (and girls)

Bill I really don't consider the outer boroughs the city, although technically they are, I am talking Manhattan meet.

Also I don't meet as often Rob cause I am way out here in the BX.

Tuddy don't redo my sentences it's not nice, and you may piss Adam off, LOL. or me. In case you weren't told I turn green when I am angry.

I did see a scion in the BX eat a mustang 350 GT. This thing was modded heavy, supercharger, exhaust, AMS, and a couple of other things. Forgot what he was pushing to the wheels, I know it was right around 300, car weighs like 2k lbs. if that.

On another note the R is up and running at 100%. Ready for winter and for sale.(after winter).

Dave how much for your ti greys?

  16. 10-04-2009 08:40 PM #3586
I agree the city is manhatten-my pt is I dont want to take my car to manhatten I would take it to queens somewhere with a large parking lot. Manhatten is just a bitch to park latelly and the lots are a ripoff and on the street you have the yuppy sun drivers that take their cars out once a month tht cant drive for poop and then you have the ppl with ****boxes that treat your car like a bumper car when they park. Either way manhatten sucks when i go to Manhatten I usually go in someone elses car.

The "R"s are family sedans - we can carpool in. Hell, if Dan throws a 3rd row in we can ALL fit! (no more 3rd row in the T5, sorry ladies and gents...).

FYI, I have a set if 18" tires that I could part with if need-be.

I also have my set of 18" pegs that I am FINALLY having powder coated next weekend.

Hey tuddy, were you the one who PM'ed me about polishing them? I think I'm going to give that a try - coat everything but the face in a metallic TiGray-ish color, then polish the face..? It's either that or I have the whole thing powdered in one color.

FYI, these will most likely be sold, so if one of you is interested in having a freshly PC'ed set of 18" pegs, let me know by FRIDAY, as Bob (giraff) is taking them Saturday.

If you want more details on the 18" tires, let me know as well and I'll run to the basement and double check the dimensions/specs/etc.

What about a black polished face with a red lip ? i would buy them hahah

  19. 10-05-2009 01:29 PM #3589
Yup, to a fellow SS'er (I didn't advertise the "R" anywhere but SS).

If you want them PC'ed black, I can do that and then you can paint a 'lip' on it...

I finally took the 'ole gal out after a while - stalled in front of the house, as I should have revved the piss out of it before I started (it had been sitting for a few weeks). Also, Di had the headlamps pointed at the front tire, so that was a fun ride home on the highway... and it's cold, wtf!

The bike also needs rots of maintenance. I was thinking I might take it to the Yuengling ride though (if I can bundle up and have all the work done before the meet).

I'm also looking forward to getting involved in some meetups since i'm back near civilization.

Thanks in advance for any help

    Bike meet!

My bike is still in NY. Adam stop being a sissy. Wear your leather and start riding that thing. I took it out the other day with Matt when it was about 40 degrees when night hit. With the gloves and my leather it wasn't so bad.

If you bring it down I'll ride back up to PA with you Adam.

We'd still need someone to drive a car (the dogs and all...). Don't get me wrong, I was riding last night - I need to put the liner back in the jacket, or wear a sweater underneath is all. My wrists were cold

I'd take it out tonight (still might), but I need to pick up a door
