Old video clip of a F1 car verses a bike

I have seen this in the past and came across it again.

Pretty cool how the bike isn't that much slower than the F1 car.

Also neat is how after about 100mph the F1 car just takes off past the bike, gotta love aero down force!

The boat, well, uhhhh who cares...

Heyyy wait minute "who cares about the boat" you say! Try steering one at that clip it's exzilerating to say the least. I love boats.

The bike rider was cool as well - loved the wheelie.

F1 - well I loved his donuts at the end.

Honda does have a variety of toy's but I'm sure Yamaha would give them a run for their money.

Then on the other hand if Volvo built motorcycles then it would be a real race. Dare to dream. So bring on BMW in the meantime -- that would be a cool race.

Great clip.

Sorry I didn't mean to hurt your feelings about boats. Its just that it was lame to put a boast against such speed demons.

The boat is awesome, and an incredibly quick piece of machinery!!

No feelings hurt amigo.
Your entitled to you express your own desires.

If you ever have a chance to experience a ride in a performance boat well jump on board it's a hoot. Boats at high speed with some chop on the water will have you holding your breath and hanging on for your life especially with the "G" force and then becoming air born. Eeeeehhhaaaa

I have a 1974 Glastron Carlson a model used in the James Bond movie "Live and Let Die". It's the model used in the high speed harbour scene. The boat was built in Texas and the hull set the standard for all sport & bass boats designed today. A real classic. By the way I'm stuck in the 70's.

Have your ever seen that old clip of a F1 and a jet plane taking off. That's a cool one too. I can't seem to find it though.

I have seen that clip but not for some time. I shall try to search...

No doubt, boats are a blast!! I have never been on anything of that speed caliber as shown on the clip. I have been on your standard speed boat and was very impressed!

Found it. But it's not a true race as the plane didn't kick-in it's afterburners. Probably a safety issue - did not want to toast the F1.
