Since my brother is buying my car next month I've been getting it ready for him (which it pretty much is). He's an outdoors type and likes to hike, hunt and fish and mentioned that he saw a saffron V70R in San Francisco last weekend (anybody here???) with a roof rack on it.
My question is how hard is it to install a roof rack on this car. Can I get it from IPD? I haven't looked yet but just wanted to hear from anyone who's done it. Or maybe someone has one for sale that I could buy. How's the installation?
Ok...I've got the load bars...now I need a luggage box for the top. Anyone got any leads on that? Thanks to Paul here for the load bars. I know understand the difference between roof rails, load bars and the luggaage box for the roof.
4 months too late! I had a complete roof box and bicycle rack off that Olive, sold them in Sept.
Darn. Well keep me in mind if anything comes up in the next month. I'll be looking for a roof box to go with the load bars so my brother can haul his dogs and stuff across country from Zionsville, IN to Mammoth Lakes, CA in my....uh I mean...his car. Hard to say that. Well it's still mine for another 6 weeks.
