Hello Chris 2,
What do you have in mind? Oh, did you see the R calipers in the "For Sale" section, are you still looking for some? The seller is selling one pair (not one side) ;-)

Chuck

I forgot about that! I have no idea what we can do. Just a weekend lunch or something soon to catch up. I saw the R calipers! I was tempted, but my pockets are saying ouch right now as I got new paint and Recaro Sportster Cs seats. I got the wheels I had ordered for the V70R to fit on the S40. Serious lip on the 10'' rears! The R Calipers and Rotors will definitely be a project I will tackle soon.

Let me know if you have any meet ideas Chuck. Its called stretched and poked. Its basically just stretching tire a bit. If i went with any wider a tire it would have rubbed.

I am currently working here in Austin, TX till Sep12. I drove the company truck out here from Mississippi. I haven't had time to work on my car or even drive it.

Your car looks awesome, you've done a lot to it. Did you repaint the whole car? The color looks lighter in these photos than I remember.

It was graphite before, and wasn't going to tie together well with the black wheels. Thanks for the kind words Craina! You'll need to try and make it out to a meet we had a great time at the last one. It would have been nice if the event had take place in August while I was working up there in Austin. I am due for another Houston trip, so I might just make it that way.

Chuck, I did see this thread awhile back. I enjoyed the first GTG and would like to have another. Problem with this one is that it's on Halloween and Halloween is spoken for...three kids... Anyone else have any suggestions when/where?
David

I need some recommendations on a couple of things. Since I hate living here in Mississippi, I try to get all my mods and parts online or back in Houston. I'll be in town towards the end of October and I want to tint my windows and get the JRL mod done. Anyone know a good tint shop and a muffler shop? Let me know if you've had this done and where. Thanks!

Hello sinisin63,
Good to hear that you're returning to Houston for some time off. For window tinting, I've had several cars done at Executive Motorsports. More info here: http://www.xmhouston.com/
I've used both locations, but the most recent was at the Gessner location, ask for Victor (they did my red V).

Chuck

Most of the people who look for meets check the VCOA Texas forum, or come to http://forum.texasvolvocrew.com to get a hold of more local people.
Hope to see you guys at the Columbus, TX meet. Most VCOA and TVC members will be there.
Austin area people please check out the pinned thread in the meet forum for disccusions on Spring Break Bash 2010 which will be held in Austin. We're looking for locals to help us set up the TVC's 5th annual event. PM me on TVC if you can lend a helping hand. Check the showroom for photos from the San Antonio 2009 event to get an idea of what we do.
Houston area people, we get together about once a month, it's slowed down in the last few months, but there's a group of us that get together at least once to twice a week on the SW side. If any of you guys are ever interested in meeting up give me a holler.
sinsin63, executive motors is top notch, they've done the majority of member's tint. If you need exhaust work done, let me know our local builder/tuner does incredible work. I can put you in contact with him if you'd like.
