Hi All,

I just recently purchased a 1996 850 Turbo Wagon with 142k miles. The car runs great and no issues over
three months. However, I have notice two things: there is oil droplets on the rear windsheld that appears
from nowhere. And from time to time I hear this siren sound from the engine. Can anyone tell me if you
have expeirence this and if so what do you suggest that I do? Thanks

Welcome to Swedespeed.

The turbo is blowing oil and/or the engine oil seal(s) leaks.

Any warranty on the car?

Hey George,

Thanks for the reply, there is no warranty on the car. What is the fix for this...a new Turbo?

Oh, I fail to ask about the engine oil seal(s)...would that be new seal(s) or new engine...the engine sound and runs great....

First determine the source of the oil leak.

Hi George,

It was determine that the Turbo is the source of the oil leak. In addition the turbo needs to be replaced. Thanks for your help and I will let you know how I make out once the problem is corrected.
