Hi Kai,

"Hey Peter,
You can either get factory Ohlins adjustable shocks, or I believe Ohlins can custom build one for you."
The Ohlins is an adjustable damping system though, right? I would love to use this system.
However what I really need is an adjustable HEIGHT because of the weight I have to carry in the car.
I am keeping it to a minimum, and as balanced as possible, but it is still about 150 lbs.
And I do not want to "slam" the front end of the car either.......
" I know if you can someone convince H&R, they will make one, too. Contact European Sport Tuning, the banner that you see on Swedespeed. The owner Frank can hook you up b/c I already talked to him about this coilover purchase before."
and were they able to get one for you? The owner of our parent company in Germany is very close friends with the owner of H&R......
" Good luck with your C70, let me know how the CES went for you."
It was very grueling, but by the end of the show we had manufacturers from all over the show coming to our booth to hear the Volvo's system as "the best sounding car in the show".......so I suppose it was successful!
"I'm loving the Brax, but I just need another amp for new subs I'm thinking about getting. Any suggestion? "
Well, what we have done is to use the "dead space" in the rear quarter panels, where the convertible has all the motor assembly, and fabricated sealed enclosures from fibereglass.
I use a 12" woofer on each side of the car, this keeps the weight balanced, and also the fibreglass doesn't weigh as much as a typical MDF box.
This also is far more space efficient than a box in the trunk, and from a sonic standpoint, the low frequencies are kept "up front" rather than the "bass player in the back deat" type of sound quality.
We rebuilt the little panel next to the rear seat bottom pad, and vent the woofers output through these little panels on each side of the seat.
it is totally "stealthy" as well!
As for amplification, I am using 2 of the Brax x2400 like you have, and a Brax X2000 to drive the subwoofers.
But my system is a "DVD Audio 5.1" system with full video indash and in the rear seating area, which necessitates the additional amplification.......
"BTW, check back with Swedespeed, George will have an article about my car soon."
Cool! I'll be looking for it!
