After a bit of research, I have decided to get a set of wheels un-drilled and outsource the job.
Can anyone tell me if Ace have a manufacturing plant in the UK or any other details on how I may get hold of these rims???
Have you tried to contact the local reseller and ask them if they can just order a set of un-drilled ones?
I know with few other manufacturers you can just ask the reseller to get them for you on special order if the manufacturer doesn't want to drill it for you.
I know that's the same wheel that Terrence was looking for before for his car. I also know there are a handful of 850s on the Net that have Ace wheels. Maybe you want to email them up and ask them.
Well, it also depends on what you are trying to achieve. For this car, 18 is just about right, 17 is probably the best choice for performance, but 18 is not too bad.
As for 19s...I've heard few C70s on the Net using them. I wouldn't go to that extreme because there are just way too many potholes around, you can destory these rims very easily.
To put the 19s on these cars is just more for show than anything.
Nothing wrong with it if you don't mind less responsive acceleration. As far as ride comfort, they aren't going to be all that once you get up to 18s. Especially, Volvos were never known for soft comfortable rides.
I managed to speak to the main importers of ACE in the UK and they have requested a set of wheels, drilled to fit straight from the factory!
Only problem is that there may be some waiting to do.
Thanks again for your help.
