It took a while for me to get used to. I have to slightly rotate my shoulders a little bit. Those wide angle mirrors should help but you'll lose your auto dimming capability.

wide angle for the sides? hrmm those are like a whole new set of mirrors. think if i cheap my way out to get blindspot mirror add ons will look tacky??

I think so. I believe that there is a P/N from Volvo for wide angle side mirrors...I just checked out the IPD one, doesn't look too shabby, but like I said, you'll lose your auto dimming (don't really need it if you have your car tinted)

oh the panorama one... hrmm.. i dunno if i want one like that. they say if you use your sun visors a lot.. that its not recommended. it is quite a bit cheaper than 100 heheh
99 volvo v70 mirrors dont need professional installation?? hrmmmm
