on the newer volvos, like my mom's S80... she doesnt have to do a thing to her headlight switch. everything is automatic. in terms of the rear nite time lights and lisence lights will turn on once it gets dark (right?)

does the C70 have that? sometimes driving under dark tunnels, my gauge panel is not lit unless i turn on all the lights.

UPDATE.... leaving the switch in full nite time position only adds on the inside lights

the exterior lights are always the same, day or nite, unless you turn on parking lights.

so now i just leave it on night time lights all the time. any ideas if it will have a negative effect by always leaving the interior lights on??

I'd have to check my owner's manual (but it's 22 deg F in the garage, so I won't!), but I recall the C70 has an adjustment next to the light switch that allows you to control which lights come on during different positions. It's a small slotted screw head.

that's the switch for daytime running lights. I like to drive with my niht drivin lights and fogs, looks best I think, hehe.
you never get any problems for having fogs on?? i thought i heard somewhere that in Cali there is some law against having it on during normal driving conditions... if i am wrong, then they are going on http://********************/smile/emwink.gif hehehe i love the way my car looks with fogs on http://********************/smile/emsmilep.gif

we can't? I'll have to check
seems like there isnt a problem with having them on, so long as no more than 4 lights are shining at once on the road ahead. so two head lights, two fogs = 4. cant drive with more lights like some rally cars http://********************/smile/emsmilep.gif heheh oh and like mike said, you cant drive with only fogs..

fogs are going to be on 24/7 now http://********************/smile/emsmile.gif http://********************/smile/emsmilep.gif with my DRLs ...
