Just wondering what people paid for their c70s. Got mine for $19,800(USD), it's a black 98' auto hpt and at the time had 45k miles. Got the chrome rim option(sooo sweet), and the 11 speaker, 400 watt dolby system, and pretty much every other option. I'll put it this way, to tell ya the shape it's in. The guy I bought it from had to sell it cuz his wife thought it was rediculous that a husband will drive his car round trip to their kids soccer games when he could just come with mommy in the mini van. Gotta love it.
I paid $29,995 for 2002 with the 400 watt stereo. I got the manual even though they had the automatics, thought they might be more durable in the long run. I am supposed to be taking delivery this week, if luck has anything to do with it. I really can't wait.

You paid what? I was going to ask "are you sure"?" but I am sure you know what you paid! How is that possible? Is it a demo? Invoice (after the $5000 rebate) is about $32000...That is a great deal...
Thats a number I really would rather not think to much about. I do believe it was somewhere between 32k-35k. When I bought mine in January of this year. Dealers were marking up the verts 5k-10k on the lot. And it was nearly impossible to find a HPT Coupe like what I ended up with....whew. I would of never bought a vert. In the end when I relized that inventory was extremely limited here in Southern Ca. I had to get less picky and not care about 2 things. I had to take what color I could find and forget about a manual tranny and get what was on the lots or coming in. In the end I got exactly what I wanted minus the tranny, but I like the auto in these cars. They are very quick shifters. Especially now with the ECU upgrade. And the color is a very rare color indeed so thats a plus too. They only made the Special Editions in three colcors if I remember correctly. I have all the options available on the car. The stereo is incredible. 400 odd watts shaking my rearview mirror...he he he he
I talked to the dealer today and am expecting the car on Thursday. It was completed on 22 Sep 02, and luckily, no it;s not a demo. I am in the military an was looking at getting an S60 T5 but when I heard about this deal I couldn't pass it up. Capitol Motors sells Volvos and BMWs at major discount. They listed the car at 34,000 but said they could knock 4,005 off because Volvo was stopping production. One of the best parts, it was also TAX free. I guess being overseas in the military haas some benefits. As for the car, my color choices were very limited, silver with automatic or blue with a standard, I chose the blue. Only TWO more days.
I got a similar deal on mine. I paid about 30,500 with the base stereo and propus wheels. I just picked it up last Thursday...already has 550 miles on it. Mine's silver with a manual. Beautiful car.
