Okay folks, this is what I have been able to come up with from various sources around the net so far. There are going to be a lot of new introductions/previews at the 2001 North American International Auto Show in Detroit from all the car manufacturers. I will try to add more to this as more information comes in. Here is what I have so far:
Acura
RS-X/Integra

A preview of the new RS/Integra with 230hp and a new i-VTEC engine. The new RS/Integra should be out by the middle of 2001.
3.2TL Type-S

The new 2002 3.2TL Type-S will have a 260hp engine plus a revised front and rear. It will also have new 17" wheels and Bose 6-CD standard.
Honda
Model-X

This is a Honda study about versatility and function. It has the best features of a pickup truck with the best features of a SUV.
Nissan
Altima

This is courtesy of FreshAlloy. There is not that much known about this one yet, although it will have an I4 engine with more than 160hp, and maybe a detuned VQ series V6 engine. There have been comments that it looks like a mix between the 2001.5 Passat and current Maxima.
Volvo
Of course this is probably the main interest for all of us.

SCC
Lots of info about this on SwedeSpeed!
ACC
So far it looks like this: 3-rows of seats, true 7-passenger seating, Haldex AWD, more cargo space and room than a BMW X5, hybrid-SUV status, and possibly named the V90 or V90 XC. According to sources, this hybrid is going to introduce a new type of SUV segment. Something like: car based chassis like the ML, X5, MDX, and RX300, but with real off-road ability. That is all that I know so far.
-Drew
[This message has been edited by InDy (edited 12-07-2000).]

The new Altima has me really looking forward to hearing more, sounds like quite a car..
I'm looking forward to seeing more development of the Integra concept too, it's a little over the top there but I'm sure as things progress it will start to tone down a little, and I actually like the new shape (and power output sounds good too)
