Well we had planed a trip (12hr drive)and wanted something to entertain our son who is six. Perfect excuse to buy a monitor for the car!! Now I had to convince my wife that we needed a monitor and a playstation 2 plus wireless earphones. After a day or two I got her to agree.
Now the problem was where to install it all. I wanted to keep it simple, clean, easy to control, and if I wanted to remove it not a lot of holes to cover.
At first I was going to buy the Ceiling mounted monitor but that meant that my son would have to look up at .After a couple of hours I would think that would start to hurt the neck. So I needed to to have everything at his eye level and grasp.
After about 20 or so hours later this is what I came up with . I tell you what it was not easy !!!

Worked for me, Nice install! If only I had a monitor and someone to drive me tonight. I have a 7hr. Drive up to Va tonight... not looking forward to it as I am already feeling tired How did you attach it? Could you take a close up of the mount itself?

Well, the pictures worked earlier, and it looks great! Now I'm seeing "picture has expired." If you need a better host, try .
edit: nevermind, they work now.

Thank you guys!!
It was alot of fun installing it. If you look you can see that the controllers plug into the back of the console. I shorten the controller wire by 5'so now the wire doen't get in the way. And the PS2 it pop riveted to the back of the seat to make it hard to steal.
Towerymt I used your host maybe now the pictures will stay up longer then a day. Thanks

*How about a little Gran-Turismo action!* Sorry Drew but the only game we have are meant for our 6 year old. I am not into video games if I were I would NEVER get anything done.

Hey, Jamie I hope these pictures help you with your install . The inverter is in the trunk . I taped foam around the inverter to keep it from moving. The reason for not bolting it is if I had to service it (blown fuse)I could easely pull it out .I did not run it to the cig lighter instead I cut the tip off and ran it to the yellow accessory plug . Once you get yours in I want to see pictures!
I forgot to tell you that I have the PS2 floating in foam to keep it from skipping. It worked pretty good we took a 24 hr trip (round trip)last week without a problem.
